My hubby was the inspiration behind creating sports things. There are many more coming. Unfortunately, we can only stitch so fast... lol. Be sure and check back! More will be added as fast as we can make them.

This was made for my boss for Christmas this year. It was just finished tonight on 10/16/08. We hope to have more of this type of thing in the future. We do have many ideas for sports patterns. Be sure and check back!

My hubby is a HUGE New England Patriots fan. This was made for him last year. It was a big hit with him. Each year it gets put out on the shelf as a "good luck" piece. Makes all the hard work worth it!

Patriots Pillow

This was made for my husband who is a Patriots/Red Sox fanatic! Something you can do with the sports member in your family or even close friends is to combine the pillows into one. On one side you can add their favorite football team and on the other you can add their favorite baseball team. This type of pillow will be used quite a bit. It will only be out of season a few months out of the year, if that! That is what I did with this pillow. If you feel really crafty you can make them seperate pillows. Experiment with the different type of stitches out there for the back. You don't have to do the back in the continental stitch. Get creative and make your projects your own!

New York Yankees Pillow

Here we have a Yankees Pillow for another sports fan in our house. There are many teams out there. Don't be afraid to try to make one for the sports fanatic/s in your house. I used the continental stitch on the front of this pillow. On the back I used a cross stitch type stitch. Turned out great! The whole thing is to enjoy what you're doing and doing it the way you want to. Experiment with colors out there. Even if it is a pattern from a company. It's not written in stone that you have to use their colors or way of doing things. It's your project!
